These flowmeters are electromechanical, volumetric flow meters. The rotating angle increases in
proportion to the flow rate. The rotate rate is detected by the pick-up coil and converted into electrical
signal, activating local indicating totalizer. |

Before installation, the flow meter should be checked internally for foreign material, and be sure that the
rotor spins freely. Also, the flow lines should be free of all debris.
This flow meter should be installed in the flow direction that is shown in outer body of the flow meter.
The liquid that is to be measured must be free from any large particles that may hinder the rotation of the rotor. If particles are present, a strainer should be installed before operating the flow meter. |
